Thank You!

I would like to thank Leia and the Nashville Pet Crematory staff for their love and care when my beloved Alex died. I was left without a crematory option and my boy got sick very suddenly. I reached out to Nashville Pet Crematory on a Sunday night and got an immediate call back. I advised Leia of my situation and that I was taking my Alex to the vet the next morning and I wasn’t sure what was gonna happen. She told me to keep her posted and she would be standing by to help me if I needed a cremation. Unfortunately it was time for my Alex to cross over. I contacted Leia and she was very accommodating and said that I could bring him as soon as I was finished at the vet and she would do a private cremation. Leia and her staff were very open and showed me the crematory and the facility. I felt extremely comfortable there and cannot express enough gratitude for them helping me at the last minute. I prefer to take my pets to the crematory myself and not leave them at the vet and Leia made this possible for me. She made a horrible day a bit better and I will be forever grateful.

Incredible service at such a difficult time.

Nashville Pet Crematory goes above and beyond what I could ever expect. After losing a beloved pet of over 11 years I called on Labor Day (thinking no one would answer due to the holiday). I was wrong….Leia answered the phone and didn’t hesitate to come meet me and take care of everything. She was very compassionate and professional and I would highly recommend their services.

Very Special and Wonderful Service

Our boy Elvis, who was our cockatiel parrot died last week and my wife Barbara was with him when he took his last breath. We thought long and hard on what we were going to do and decided to have him cremated. Our Vet wasn’t able to help finding a company that I could be there to make sure that we got our babies ashes, so I came upon this wonderful company that is only a mile from our home. I arrived and Leia and her husband were great people and helped me through the process. First thing that they did for us was making a clay set of his feet. Then I was allowed to witness him being placed into the crematorium and in 30 minutes I was done and able to take Elvis’ ashes home. This service is available for anyone who needs this done and able to help you grieve.

Precious memories

My experience with Nashville Pet Crematory was so awesome. Triniti Belle was treated like she was a queen yes, she really was. They were so gentle with her and said such sweet words about her and they didn’t even know her. I felt so peaceful from start to finish through every step my baby was treated with grace. And for that I am so greatful to them for there care of my baby. Thank you both and god bless you for doing what you do so caringly.

Gail Callahan

Very caring

The service is top notch, with no mixing of pets’ ashes, and she couldn’t have been nicer. My Dixie died late Saturday afternoon and she met me Saturday night. We would definitely use this company again.

There is a variety of containers and urns from which to choose for your fur baby, and I found the whole process to be more in my control. I would never again let a veterinarian send my pet away for this service.

Thank you Nashville Pet Crematory for your kindness and extra care.

Above and beyond

My big cat Vogie died on Sunday afternoon and they let me go ahead and bring him over even though it was Sunday. They were so caring and sympathetic. Picked Vogie up today and he’s back at home. #grateful

I wanted to write this

I wanted to write this review much sooner, As Lia and Mitchell at Nashville Pet Crematorium deserves high marks, but it has taken me a month to get myself where I was able to do so after our loss.

Sadly my fur baby passed on at 14 1/2 yrs old. It was very hard on me and our family. We love our pets so very much. Taking him to do this difficult last deed was truly so heavy on my heart, but Mitchell took my fur baby boy out of my arms and told me, ” don’t worry we will love him and take care of him as if he was our very own, b/c we have been in your place before. We understand how hard this time can be”.
Lia his wife was so sweet. She was so patient and understanding as I picked out a special urn for our boy. I truly felt as though they were friends, helping us.
It is never ever easy losing a pet, but somehow through their love and kindness shown to us, it helped. Sometimes the smallest deed of kindness can mean the most. I highly recommend this small family owned business that understands that our pets are our family too. They have called twice over the last month to check in on me. That was so kind of them.
I hope I never lose another pet, but unfortunately, life and death is fact and hard, but I know where I will always go in trust with my family fur babies. Thank you, Lia and Mitchell
Nancy and fur baby Simon

Worst experience I have had

The gentleman on Sunday was great name Mitchell. Took very good care. The woman that was supposed to call me and never did and never answered the phone from my number was the worse. I had to call from another number after leaving 2 messages and she claim never received. She does not care about anything but getting your money. After 3 days of calling and her telling me I didn’t leave a message and she texted me. I could get my pet when she said I could which was not what I paid for or expected from this type of business. I had to tell her I would call the cops and she said go right ahead she would not be there when I came to pick up his remains. I ask for Mitchell and she finally had him call me. He apologized and drove from Clarksville to meet with me and take care of the issue. He was the person who actually preformed the service. I do not ever recommend using this service and I will be reporting this to BBB and anyone else I can. This is not what a person should have to go through in this time of suffering and especially being a service pet. Now I question if I even got my pets remains back. With this type of customer service from what I’m being told his a owner this is crazy. This was one of the worst services I’ve ever experienced and I hope that another family does not go through this. Please be cautious if you use this place.

Best People, Leia & Mitchell are so kind & loving!

Once again I had to make a call to Ms. Leia…My beloved Basset Hound Ollie Rufus Radley Aladesipe passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday on April 30th…Ms. Leia had closed for the day by the time my sister Sherry & Boyfriend Brandon got off from work. My Sister called her and told her the situation and she met us back over at the office around 6pm that night. so we all could go to take my baby boy to be cremated. She helped us pick out the Urn and was just so kind and wonderful. Mater of fact the wood box I wanted had been discontinued and she just used it for show and Sold us that beautiful box anyways. Ms Leia & her husband Mitchell are the kindest, most loving people that you will ever meet. They love their clients and go above and beyond to make a horrible, traumatic experience go as smooth as possible. She had my Ollie ready for me to pick up the next day and she even made 2 paw prints for me and kept some of his hair for me also. I placed his hair in the baggie in the urn with him and picked out one of my favorite pictured to put in the front of the urn he is in. I would recommend if you lose a pet and have the means to pay for cremation the Nashville Pet Crematory is the place to go…they are so kind and very reasonably priced!

Our beloved guinea pig, Benny,

Our beloved guinea pig, Benny, passed away during the snowstorm this January in Nashville. We did not get there until after they have let due to the weather. They were willing to come back to the office. This was our first passing of an animal and my children and I were devastated. Everyone was so sweet and kind. They also were able to assist us while they were dealing with their own heartbreak. I commend them for being so kind, sweet, and supportive. I would recommend anyone who lost a loved pet to use their services. I wish I were a person who was able to speak many words because if I did I would have so much to say and how grateful to have found them. Now we have our Benny still with us. Thank you so so much for everything.

I cannot say enough kind

I cannot say enough kind words about my experience with Mitchell at Nashville Pet Crematory. I told him he must have a very difficult job because everyone shares their pain with him- he said he hears the pain, but more than that he hears how much love people shared with their pets. He honestly helped me grieve the day I lost my bun Peter Rabbit. He has such a gentle, sincerity about it him- I’d highly recommend them to anyone during such a delicate time. His wife was just as sweet, kind, and caring. Thank you both for your kindness.

Beyond a Job came Compassion

My dog, Kalie Gwendolyn died 8/13/2023. Speaking to Mitchell during a storm on Monday, to make arrangements to have my sweet baby cremated, he was so concerned about me traveling with the heavy rain. When I finally got my baby to Mitchell that evening , he promised he would treat my baby, as if she was his own and take care of her in the morning. I picked up her ashes that afternoon, Mitchell made a foot print for me and gave me a lock of her hair.
The kind words to me made the world of difference for me to bring her to Mitchell. Mitchell not only cared for my sweet Kalie he comforted me with his compassionate words. I highly recommend Nashville Pet Crematory for your pets. If I could give 10 plus stars I would. Thank You, Mitchell.

My cat, Sullivan got outside,

My cat, Sullivan got outside, and after 3 days of looking for him, I came home and found that he had been hit by a car outside my home on Sunday, December 20th, 2015.

Not having a permanent place to bury him, I decided to have him cremated.

I was a mess, and luckily my friend was with me to help wrap his body in a blanket and place him in a bag. She found this establishment and called and spoke to a man named Justin who told her I could bring him in first thing the next day and disclosed the pricing would be $135.

When I saw a couple negative reviews, I became weary and I called another place that seemed local. However, the address was wrong and it was all the way in Columbia. The lady was very nice, but it would be $190, with complimentary pickup. I decided to call Justin.

Justin greeted me when I called, and remembered speaking to my friend. His voice was kind. I asked if I should bring him in soon and he urged me to do so. I also asked about seeing him one last time to say goodbye, and he told me he could place the body on a table and cover him nicely so I could have a final moment with him. He also told me he would be cremated privately.

As awful, gut wrenching and pain staking as the whole experience of losing my cat was, the kindness and compassion I felt from Justin really helped me along. He was curteous, professional, swift, empathetic. I had no experience in cremating a pet, so I had no idea what to expect. But he made the experience quick and easy. Never once did I not feel like I was handling the remains of a member of my family. Because Sully was treated as such. Justin even went the extra mile and fulfilled special requests of mine. And now I will have things to memorialize him forever.

I didn’t imagine myself having any peace over the situation as I was full of grief and guilt.

But that night, I felt at peace, knowing I had him back with me, and that I had closure. Had I not seen his face, I might have entered denial, and believed he was still out there.

I hope it is not for a very long time, but when I lose my other pets, I know I will only bring them here.

I can’t thank this establishment, or Justin enough.

Haleigh M.

Thankful

This is by far the only place I would reccomend to family and friends who has lost one of their fur babies. Leia (the owner) is kind, thoughtful, and very generous working with my needs for my pug Moby. I am so thankful, and they are incredibly helpful.

Taylor Neitz

A quiet place in the middle of everything.

I appreciate y’all so much. Even the location is comforting, in a shady little nook.

Leia was very helpful, and as interested in how I was doing after Felix passed away as she was about guiding me to pick out exactly what I wanted.

Definitely recommend!

There aren’t words enough to

There aren’t words enough to say how grateful I am for all of these people. We lost our boxer who was my daughters dog for 12 years on Memorial Day. Leia not only stayed open for me to bring Angel, our boxer in, but stayed and comforted me through the process. She great recommendations and offered suggestions I hadn’t thought of. She even accommodated a change in the urn. I hope no one has to go through the loss of a beloved animal. But when it happens, I cannot recommend any one else but Nashville Pet Crematory. They did more for my family il than they might ever know.

On July 7th, 2023, I had to have my sweet cat Jasper put to sleep due to cancer. Heartbroken and at a loss as what to do so late in the evening my daughter called Nashville Pet Crematory and spoke to Leia who said we could come right over. Leia met us there and called me the next day to say I could pick Jasper’s ashes up. I have had many animals cremated in the past and waited weeks to get there ashes back which makes closure hard.

Leia was so kind and answered all my questions and even checked on me to see how I was doing. I would totally use Nashville Pet Crematory again and would recommend them to anyone who has loved and loss a precious part of their lives.

Thank you so much for the care you gave Jasper

Taking care of our beloved Levi

During our sad and difficult time of losing our beloved Jack Russell Levi, I contacted Leia about her services. When I first spoke to Leia she was very kind, sincere, and empathetic to myself and my family. When we arrived at Nashville Crematory, Mitchell was the same as Leia as he understood our feelings and last requests of seeing and being with Levi for as long as possible. Both Leia and Mitchell were very nice to my wife and children while we waited for Levi to be cremated. I would highly recommend Nashville Crematory for anyone who has lost a pet. From the time I first contacted them, until the day we brought Levi home, Leia and Mitchell were very helpful and professional during our days of sorrow. Thank you!

Mitchell was the most caring

Mitchell was the most caring amazing person whose genuine sympathy and interest in your fur baby is exactly what is needed during their passing. My beloved cat Gnash passed

My beloved cat Gnash passed away in his sleep earlier this week. I wanted to memorialize him, but burying him didn’t feel like the right thing to do. I finally settled on cremation, and I’m so glad I did. Leah and Mitchell (who assisted me at their facility) were extremely professional, but also responsive and caring. Their dignified treatment of Gnash—and of me, a sobbing, grieving mess—has helped me process his passing, which came as a complete shock. I cannot recommend their services enough if you are in need of them.

Absolutely the best experience in

Absolutely the best experience in such a hard time. They took care of my sweet baby, told me they placed her respectfully and took the best care, hand delivered the remains to my house, and grieved right along with me. In such a hard time, the wonderful people here did everything they could to make it as easy as possible. Leia is a dream to work with and checked up on my after it was all done.

Peaceful Ending

Our sweet 19 month Labradoodle Lulu came to a tragic ending of life. Leah and Mitchell were very compassionate and did a wonderful job cremating Lulu and mailing her to our ranch in Colorado where she will be buried along side Wolfgang and Rufus. I would have given them

I would have given them 5 stars but on the day i dropped off my Gizmo, i asked for the blanket she was in. I was told i would get it when i picked her up. When i got there to get her, my blanket was missing. She said they lost it but would find it and bring it to me. When they found out i drove over an hour to get there, it became we will mail it. Its been 3weeks and I’ve called and called and i was told they are too busy for me. Ive broke my elbow but it looks like if i ever want her blanket back i have to make that drive again myself. Very disappointing!..took a month but I got my late fathers blanket back. 5 stars!!

My dog Dylan died late

My dog Dylan died late on Friday night, and on Saturday morning I called Nashville Pet Crematory after seeing the many positive reviews online. Mitchell met me the same morning at their office so I could drop off my pup. It’s clear that husband and wife Mitchell and Leia do this work because they care about pets and want to help people. They are professional and charge fair prices. I received Dylan’s ashes in a beautiful wooden box along with a pawprint in clay and a thoughtful card. Losing a pet is difficult and it’s nice to know there are kind people like Mitchell and Leia and their company to help you out.

Very thankful for this business

Mrs. Leia at Nashville Pet Crematory was absolutely an angel when our precious Lady passed away. She was very easy to work with and her passion for animals is evident. We were confident we chose the right person to take care of our girl. Her customer service is amazing, turn around time from drop off to pick up was fast and prices were very affordable. The fact that one cremation is performed at a time really gave us peace of mind our baby would be back at home with us. Our family definitely recommends Mrs. Leia and Nashville Pet Crematory
